PARALLEL 49 - UGLY SWEATER

If the holidays aren't about drinking delicious, full-flavoured beer and wearing tacky sweaters, then we don't know much about anything. STEAMWORKS BREWING CO - VANCOUVER, BC

At LC, there are few things that wet our whistles more effectively than sweet, delicious beer. Steamworks Brewing Co has long been a purveyor of some of our favourite brews, so we were thrilled to help them produce some snazzy new merch. Although there were a number of items on the agenda, a few pieces also happen to celebrate some of our favourite beers. Be sure to visit the Steamworks Brewery to get your hands on one of these top-notch Tees and, while you're at it, might we suggest sampling a few tasty pints (you've earned it... at least we think you have... but what do we know)?!

 

RIFFLANDIA MUSIC FESTIVAL - SEPTEMBER 17-20, 2015

The Rifflandia Music Festival kicks off tomorrow in Victoria, BC. The event is jam-packed with an array of awesome festivities and dozens of amazing artists, including Modest Mouse, Chromeo, and Mother Mother. Check out the official Rifflandia website for the full schedule, ticket info, and colourful what-have-you. Then, more importantly, be sure to hustle over to the festival merch booth to snag a few handy souvenirs. We think it's among the top 3 smartest things you'll do this weekend (ok, top 4).

        

SQUAMISH VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL - AUG. 7. 8. 9, 2015

This weekend, the Squamish Valley is home to one of North America's premiere music festivals. The 2015 line-up includes Sam Smith, Drake, Mumford & Sons, and some kick-ass merch. At LC, we like to think the merch will be the biggest attraction at the SVMF this weekend, but we're probably only half right. 

ROCK THE SHORES - JULY 18 & 19, COLWOOD BC

Tomorrow, Rock The Shores kicks off in spectacular Colwood, BC. The 2015 RTS line-up features a number of LC favourites, including Black Keys, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Father John Misty. Check out the official RTS website for the full line-up and ticket info. What would the summer be without outdoor music and what will your wardrobe be like without one of these beauties?

TOUGH MUDDER - WHISTLER, BC

Next week, athletes from around the globe will gather in Whistler, BC for the annual Tough Mudder. The hardcore obstacle challenge spans nearly 20 km through some of British Columbia's most beautiful terrain and back country. Visit the souvenir concession at the event (or the official on-line store) and some fabulous merch will soon be spanning your wardrobe. 

PARALLEL 49 BREWING - CORN HOPS

This summer, what could be better than a cold pint of Parallel 49's recently released Imperial Corn IPA? Some people (us included) would argue that the only thing better would be to enjoy said beer while wearing a snappy Corn Hops Tee. We challenge you to take a sip while wearing one of these jazzy numbers and then, for comparison, try a sip while wearing one of your sad, old domestic beer Tees. Then this: we told ya so!

HOWE SOUND BREWING - SUPER JUPITER ISA

If there was an unofficial list of our favourite beers at LC, Howe Sound's Super Jupiter Grapefruit ISA would be near the top. A brilliant sequel to the infamous Super Jupiter IPA, the ISA is bold, complex, and refreshing. To celebrate the return of this iconic brand, Howe Sound released a new T-shirt to quench the thirst of the many Super Jupiter lovers out there. For astronomy nerds, beer lovers, and flavour aficionados alike!

COLIN JAMES - HEARTS ON FIRE TOUR

Tonight, Canadian Blues Rock icon Colin James plays the Orpheum in Vancouver, BC. This gig is part of his highly acclaimed Hearts On Fire Tour, which began last month in Halifax. Check out Colin's official website for tickets, tour info and, most importantly (in our humble opinion) merch. Ok... "equally" important.

Steam Works has been brewing steam-powered beer in historic Gastown, Vancouver since 1995. To this day, Steam Works remains one of the pillars of Vancouver's vibrant craft brewing culture. We're big fans of their fresh, flavourful beers, and, naturally, their spiffy array of merch. Next time you're in Gastown, swing by the Brew Pub for your next favourite T-shirt. And some beer, don't forget the beer!

PARALLEL 49 - JERKFACE 9000

In these parts, drinking craft beer and being polite is king. But, like it says on the bottle, "when it's this good, you ain't gotta be nice about it." So, to celebrate the release of Jerkface 9000 North West Wheat Ale, buy one of these snappy T-shirts, you cheap bastard.

Central City Brewers + Distillers have been making award-winning beer for as long as we can remember. They also have one of the best selections of merchandise in the business and, naturally, LC is proud to contribute to their line-up. One of our favourite beers (Red Racer IPA) can be celebrated with this snazzy T-shirt, available in the on-line store and at the brewery shop. If you're an IPA fan (and we think you are) this is a beer and T-shirt combo you need to be familiar with!
