BC LIONS - BC PLACE GRAND OPENING

Tomorrow night (Sept. 30, 2011), the BC Lions play their first game at BC Place Stadium since 2009. After a season and a half of renovation, the stadium reopens with new seats, a retractable roof, and one of the largest video display screens in the world. To celebrate the Grand Opening, the Lions asked us to develop a commemorative T-shirt that spotlights the slogan PRIDE LIVES HERE. This special, limited edition T-shirt will be available at the Lions souvenir concessions during the game against the Edmonton Eskimos (while supplies last, y'all!).

 

ARCTIC MONKEYS - VANCOUVER

Tonight, English indie rockers the Arctic Monkeys play at the Orpheum with Smith Westerns. To commemorate the event, we were asked to produce a limited edition, screen printed concert poster. The poster, designed by Vancouver's Robert Edmonds, will be available at the show tonight. There are only 100 available, so get there early, get in line, and get ready to rock.

VANCOUVER CANADIANS - NWL CHAMPS

Earlier this month, the Vancouver Canadians captured the 2011 NWL Championship with a win over the Tri-City Dust Devils. We'd like to congratulate the Canadians and invite you celebrate the championship in style with one of the very fine T-shirts produced by your friends at Lower Case. SAN SEBASTIAN (IN A CITY NEAR YOU)

Tomorrow night, Canadian favourites San Sebastian, kick off their fall 2011 tour with AWOLNATION. Check them out in a city near you and, if you do, be sure to hook yourself up with a cool new T-shirt (produced by your friends at LC, thank you very much). Tell them we sent you and be prepared for a quick, disapproving glare.

HOWE SOUND LAGER

In the summer of 2011, Howe Sound Brewing Co launched it's first beer packaged in cans, Howe Sound Lager. To celebrate the launch, the brewery asked us to develop a T-shirt featuring some of the brand elements depicted on the packaging. Now you can enjoy this wonderful beer in the comfort of a fantastic souvenir T-shirt. Brilliant.

END OF AN EMPIRE

On Sept. 10, 2011, the BC Lions played their final home game at Empire Field. To commemorate the occasion, the Lions asked us to develop a T-shirt that highlighted the two eras at Empire Field; August 28th, 1954 - November 6th, 1982 and July 10th, 2010 - September 10th, 2011. Each limited edition T-shirt featured a hand numbered, souvenir football card hang tag. The shirts are available for a limited time in the BC Lions on-line store.

The Lions won the game 28-6 over the Toronto Argonauts.
