STRANGE FELLOWS BREWING - EAST VANCOUVER, BC

This week, Strange Fellows Brewing opened it's brewery and tasting room in East Vancouver, BC. In addition to an awesome array of beer, Strange Fellows offers a snazzy selection of west coast crafted merch. WHISTLER SLIDING CENTRE - FASTEST TRACK IN THE WORLD

The Whistler Sliding Centre was the host site for the bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton events during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The track, which has the distinction of being the fastest in the world, is now the host of some new world-class merchandise (courtesy of your pals at LC, naturally). We like to think these are some of the fastest T-shirts in the world but, in reality, that doesn't make much sense. Or does it?

 

MOTHER MOTHER - VERY GOOD BAD THING TOUR

Tonight, Mother Mother kicks off a nation-wide tour in Halifax, NS. The 23-show tour will make stops across Canada before wrapping up in Vancouver on Dec. 13. Be sure to check out the official MM website for show info and tickets. And, more importantly (in our humble opinion), stop by the merch table when you're at the show to pick up some awesome new swag. New merch - it's a very good, good thing!

JANN ARDEN - EVERYTHING ALMOST TOUR

This month, certified Canadian legend Jann Arden will be appearing in a city near you. After kicking off the tour last week in Victoria, she's playing tonight in Calgary, then continuing east, and wrapping up in Halifax on Sept. 30. It's a well-known fact that it's difficult to top a Jann Arden concert, but one way to do so is to combine a Jann Arden performance with some snazzy LC-produced merch. Stop by the souvenir concession at the show and you'll see what we mean. It's not like you have to do it, but it's also not like you don't have to. Know what we're saying?

FIFA U-20 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP - CANADA 20 14

This Sunday, Nigeria and Germany face off for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Championship in Montreal. The tournament kicked off on August 5th, with games in Edmonton, Toronto, Moncton, and Montreal, and featured 16 teams from around the world. It's been a wildly successful event and we like to think part of the success was a result of the fabulous souvenir merchandise (produced by your pals at LC, of course). Then again, we don't want to take ALL the credit. Some, but definitely not all.

SQUAMISH VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL - AUG. 8-10, 2014

This weekend, music fans are flocking to Squamish, BC for one of North America's premiere music festivals. Not only does the line-up include music giants Arcade Fire, Broken Bells, Eminem, Bruno Mars, and Arctic Monkeys, but also features some kick-ass merch. If you're lucky enough to get your hands on a ticket, be sure to stop by one of the official merch tents to grab a snazzy LC-produced souvenir. Or two, grab two (while supplies last... and this time we mean it!!!).

ROCK THE SHORES - JULY 11-13, 2014

Rock The Shores is undoubtedly one of Western Canada's premiere music festivals. Check out the RTS website for event and ticket info and you'll see the 2014 line-up includes some outstanding artists, including LC favourites Mother Mother, Billy Talent, and The Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer. In addition to some great band merch, your pals at LC are responsible for helping fans gear up with some official festival swag. We're not suggesting you need a new T-shirt in order to rock, but we're also not not suggesting it.

 

RUSSELL BREWING CO - IP'eh!

In our humble opinions, nothing says Happy Canada Day quite like a gathering of friends, a cooler full of cold beer, and some patriotic merch. So, when you see Russell Brewing's tasty "IP'eh" India Pale Ale at your local beer store, just imagine how great it will taste when you're also sporting one of these stylish T-shirts. As they most likely proclaimed in 1867, nothing celebrates the British North America Act quite like delicious hoppy beer and snazzy T-shirts. Let it be decreed!

SEA TO SKY GONDOLA - ADVENTURE BY NATURE

It's no secret Squamish has some of the best scenery and recreational terrain in the world. The recently opened Sea to Sky Gondola makes a large part of this terrain accessible for exploration. Also accessible to visitors of the Sea to Sky region is some work-class merch, carefully crafted by your pals at LC. Whether you drop by for a thrilling ride up the gondola, a walk across Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, a hike through the back country, or just to enjoy the stunning views from the Summit Lodge, be sure to stop by the gift shop for a gander at the souvenirs. Doing so might just result in making the view of your T-shirt drawer slightly more spectacular. Well, at least we think it will!

PARALLEL 49 - 'TIS THE SEASON(AL)

As the temperature rises north of the 49th parallel, so does our collective appetite for cold beer. Good news: our friends at Parallel 49 Brewing Co have some delicious seasonal brews, just in time for summer. Also just in time for summer, some super new merch, now available at the P49 tasting room in Vancouver. We can't promise a cold beer and snazzy T-shirt will help you beat the summer heat, but we won't fault you for trying.

VANCOUVER WHITECAPS FC - SINCE 1974

As you probably know, 2014 marks the 40th Anniversary for a Vancouver sporting institution, the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. We think there's no better way to celebrate a milestone than with some kick-ass merch so, naturally, we went to work. You can get your hands on the limited edition throwback gear at the official Team Store or this Saturday (May 3) at BC Place. Gear up like it's 1974!

 

HOWE SOUND - BC'S BEST BREWPUB

This spring, we recommend visiting the Howe Sound Brewpub, which was recently voted the best brewpub in BC. We like to think merch had a little something to do with that award, but we know it probably has more to do with the great service, delicious beer, and amazing food. That said, we also recognize the selection of snazzy T-shirts and apparel certainly doesn't hurt. Check out the latest new arrivals, for example. It's no secret that Howe Sound Brewing has one of the best selections of craft beer (and craft beer T-shirts) in the Pacific Northwest. So, when we heard they were releasing a new beer named after a uniquely shaped island in Howe Sound, there was only one thing to do - drink some delicious Dark Lager and come up with a new T-shirt design. The beer label promises 3 glasses of glory in every bottle and we pledge one lifetime of glory with every T-shirt.
