WALLY BUONO - HEART OF A CHAMPION

Yesterday, the BC Lions honoured the career of one of the greatest coaches in CFL history, Wally Buono. We marked the occasion with a snazzy T-shirt featuring Wally himself. Now available at Leos home games, the special edition T-shirts made quite a splash... current head coach, Mike Benevides, even sported one on the sidelines during the game. The Lions beat the Saskatchewan Roughriders 24-5, thanks, in part (as we like to think), to looking so good. 

HOWE SOUND BREWING

This month, our friends at Howe Sound Brewing Co are launching some spectacular new swag celebrating some of the best craft beer in BC. The shirts feature some of our favourites; Devil's Elbow IPA, Three Beavers Imperial Red Ale, and Garibaldi Honey Pale Ale. Great beer deserves great swag, as we like to say. Enjoy!

 

GEROY SIMON - CFL'S ALL-TIME LEADER, RECEIVING YARDS

On June 29, 2012, Geroy Simon became the CFL's All-Time leader in receiving yards. The previous record of 15,143 yards was surpassed in the 4th quarter when Geroy caught a 56 yard pass from QB Travis Lulay. Your pals at LC had the distinct honour of being asked to design and produce a special edition T-shirt to celebrate the record. So, as you might have guessed, we did. Although the shirts were an ultra hot commodity at the game, rumour has it you can still get your hands on one at an upcoming Lions home game, while supplies last. Stay tuned and keep counting up them yards, y'all.
